Every child deserves the opportunity to reach their full potential, regardless of their background or circumstances. An excellent educational experience – from early years through to leaving school or college – is essential for that to happen.
At Orange Moon Training, we’ve made it our mission to make that possible.
We provide specialist training to those working in the early years/childcare and education sectors, to raise standards, improve skills, ensure best practice and give them the best platform to develop their careers. It’s our aim to inspire every learner, expanding their knowledge and empowering their passion to shine through and reflect onto the children they work with.
We’ve been providing Government-approved training programmes to practitioners working in nurseries, pre-schools and schools, as well as home-based childminders since 2010.
Our delivery team comprises sector specialists with many years’ experience working as childminders, headteachers, teachers, teaching assistants, nursery managers, nursery practitioners and NLEs. We are approved to deliver internationally recognised qualifications from Level 1 to Level 6, along with Government-funded training programmes including apprenticeships and traineeships.
A new year of life changing international placements starts now.
Our 2025-26 Turing Scheme Programme is now open.
We’re incredibly proud to be able to offer this opportunity again, and this year it truly feels extraordinary. Only a handful of training providers in the UK help deliver the Turing Scheme, and Orange Moon learners are among the few who can take part.
The new programme is our biggest yet. Learners will have the chance to travel everywhere from the Tanzania to Malaysia, The Gambia to Sri Lanka and beyond, with placements that open their eyes to completely different ways of working and living. These trips give people the kind of confidence, curiosity and perspective that stays with them for years.
This sits alongside their regular training, but it brings something no classroom ever could. Time in another country. Real experience in real settings. New ideas, new people and a sense of what they are capable of when they step outside their comfort zone.

Our Apprenticeship Programme
We offer a wide range of accredited childcare and education support apprenticeships to equip new staff with the skills they need to develop their careers.
We work closely with both apprentices and their employers to provide bespoke programmes that meet the individual’s and the organisation’s needs.
Our apprenticeships can be tailored to your organisational needs to reflect the profile, socio-economic climates and developmental targets of the children you work with. This will ensure your team is equipped with the skills and experience they need to help every child you work with to flourish.
Upskilling your team
As well as training new apprentices, we can also utilise apprenticeship programmes to help you upskill and develop your existing staff, to meet your current and future skills needs.
Alongside apprenticeship funding, there are other funding sources available to support your ongoing staff continuous personal development (CPD) programmes, depending on eligibility.
We can work with you to assess your requirements and create a bespoke CPD programme to meet your specific needs.
Where funding is not available, we have a variety of private payment arrangements to suit your organisation and help you access the training you need.
